Hardware and building supplies
Cement by the bag, steel by the length, nails by the kilo, paint by the tin; contractors who want a quotation today and an account tomorrow; stock that leaves on a lorry. Crystaline ERP handles the units, the credit and the stock in one place.

What the product does for a hardware shop
Units that match the trade
Bags, lengths, kilograms, litres, tins, pieces and cartons are units and packs on the item. Buy in one unit, sell in another; stock and reports stay in the base unit.
Quotations and LPOs
Quote a bill of materials, convert it to an invoice or cash sale when the customer agrees, and record the customer's LPO number on the document. Price levels handle contractor versus walk-in prices.
Contractor accounts
Credit limits and terms per customer, enforced at the till. Payments allocated to invoices, statements on request or on a schedule, aging analysis to chase what is overdue.
Deliveries and returns
Delivery notes for goods going to site, dispatch of items already invoiced, returns and credit notes when material comes back, with stock adjusted accordingly.
Receiving bulk stock
Goods received against purchase orders from manufacturers and distributors, costs updated on receipt, supplier invoices and payments, withholding VAT where it applies.
More than one yard
Stock per branch, transfers between yards with packing lists, branch sales and a profit and loss per branch. See the multi-branch page.
Reports a hardware owner uses
- Sales by item and category with margins; slow movers
- Stock status and value per yard; items below reorder level
- Customer aging and due invoices; balances per contractor
- Supplier balances and purchases by supplier
- Cashier variance per day; profit and loss per month
